Wow! Well earlier today Mrs Lorna Tatchell, Lady Mayoress of Burnley called in to Padiham Green to meet the year 5 children. Mrs Tatchell was thrilled for the children and expressed her excitement about the trip. Along with her she brought two Burnley pennants - one for the mayor of Aachen & one for the children of Domsingschule.
Following our meeting with the Mayor of Padiham earlier in the week, Andy Tatchell has also provided us with a letter for the mayor of Aachen - (with an english translation!). So, we are now very well equipped to make some great European connections!
